Heinrich Cincinnati Career Coach

” If you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat!
Just get on.”

[Sheryl Sandberg]

I’m obviously no Sheryl Sandberg, but what a great quote!  How often do we pass up the opportunity for the “awesome” in the pursuit of “perfection”?!

My name is Heinrich Stander and my passion is to help individuals (and organizations) turn their career frustrations into fulfilling, successful career situations. Change is tough,  and we often just need a little help to navigate through it.  And I know a thing or two about change.

Born and raised in Africa, at age 31 I sold everything I owned, moved half-way around the world and started a new life in beautiful Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; from scratch, not knowing a soul, with two suitcases a little bit of money;  in a country I’ve never been before and a culture I’d only ever seen on TV.  Fast forward to today and I’ve had a 21 year career as a senior manager at a Fortune 25 company and  become an entrepreneur and successful business owner.

Along my life journey I have learned (often the hard way) what works and what doesn’t; what great leadership looks like as well what not-so-great leadership looks like. I’ve learned about building, rebuilding, adapting, learning, growing and succeeding at careers. My goal is to help you navigate your career changes using the experiences and life skills that I’ve learned that are critical for you to get on that rocket ship to career and life success.

I’d also love to hear from you. Share what you’ve learned about career success and anything you are willing to share with the world. And if you’re around Cincinnati, lets have coffee!
